The Boise River Park has become the premiere place in the Treasure Valley for water sports like surfing and kayaking.  Now, new research is underway to make it even better.

Experts are studying the acoustic patterns of river waves to figure out what the best conditions for our favorite water sports are, and then creating a better version of them.

The research is expected to be conducted over the next few months, but once it's complete, Boise Parks and Recreation and the research team believe they can make the experience even better.
