BOI Adds Non-Stop Flights To Sonoma: Why You Should Be Excited
Avelo Airlines just announced non-stop flights from Boise to Charles M. Shulz Sonoma County Airport beginning on May 2. Those flights will be on Thursdays and Sundays and are only $62. This connects Boise to something it truly loves: wine. But there's a lot more to do than just visit vineyards while you're there.
Let's Start With The Wine
Yes, there is so much more to Napa Valley than the wine, but we can't ignore the wine, either. Sonoma County is home to over 425 wineries across 60,000 acres of vineyard, where some of America's best wines are made.
So, where should you go first? For your first trip to Napa Valley, there are 5 vineyards that you have to see.

What Is There To Do In Sonoma County Besides Visiting Vineyards?
If you like the outdoors, try kayaking on the Russian River, hiking Bodgea Head, or seeing the redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. If you'd rather stay close to town, watch a movie at the historic Rio Theater or walk through the many gardens. The small towns of Sonoma County are a lot of fun to check out. There are unique artisan shops and gourmet eateries in each city. But if you want to check off a hot air balloon ride from your bucket list, it is a fantastic way to see the rolling hills. If you'd rather stay closer to the ground, you could take a gourmet train dinner trip, which combines amazing food with even more amazing views.
For $62, it's worth considering a romantic trip through one of America's most exciting locations.
