America’s Got Talent Breakout Star Coming to Boise
This act was my absolute favorite act during the 2017 season of America's Got Talent, so you better bet that I'm buying tickets to see him in Boise!
I'll be the first to admit that I don't watch America's Got Talent on a regular basis, but if we turn on TV and it's on? Well, it's fun background noise for whatever we're doing around the apartment in the evening so we'll keep it on. I remember getting distracted from whatever I was doing on my computer last year when Puddles Pity Party appeared on our screen. Visibly sad and in need of a hug, Puddles the clown was the saddest AGT hopeful in the audition room. After silently admitting to fellow contestants and the judges panel that he was sad because he had a broken heart, Puddles went on to absolutely wow America with his cover of Sia's "Chandelier."
The judges sent unanimously Puddles on to the next round. Even though he was one of my favorites, he ultimately got sent home during the quarter finals.
If you didn't watch AGT, but are thinking "that clown sure does look familiar" it might because Puddles has recorded several songs with YouTube superstars, Postmodern Jukebox. Lorde actually called their cover of "Royals" one of the best versions of her song she's ever heard!
Now you have a chance to hear it live! Puddles Pity Party is performing at the Egyptian Theater on Tuesday, September 25 at 8 p.m! Tickets go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster on Thursday, July 26 at 10 a.m. and will range from $34-$44 a piece!
