Per Gaga's insistence, all music performances were filmed live
During the Tribeca Film Festival back in April, Cooper revealed that Gaga encouraged the actor to sing live for the film, sharing, "It was terrifying, and I really relied on her. I spent about a year and a half taking vocal lessons and preparing."
Pop star Halsey and comedian Dave Chappelle appear in the film
In early September, Halsey revealed on Twitter that she makes a cameo in the film, tweeting, "Thank you so so much to Gaga and Bradley for including me. It was an honor to watch both of your talent and dedication on set. An all-time life highlight for me for sure."
It had its highly anticipated world premiere at the Venice Film Festival
The film premiered in Venice on August 31, with both an early morning press screening as well as an evening red carpet premiere.
