A shocking story has the entire world shaking their heads asking how and why?  What happened?  What's the motive?  And how is this -year-old child that was thrown from three stories up by some random person at the Mall Of America?

Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts has stated that it doesn't look like there's any type of relationship between 24-year-old Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda who allegedly pushed  5-year-old Landen Hoffmann from the third floor at Minnesota's famous Mall of America.  We do know that the child has survived but after immediately being transferred to the Children's Minnesota Hospital it's reported that the 5-year-old has very serious injuries.  How bad, we just don't know at this point.

According to KTVB, police have no idea what the motive would've been.  A thorough investigation is underway.  There are a lot of witnesses, most who are traumatized after seeing something you just couldn't believe you just saw.  It's like something out of a movie.  It can't be real.  How could someone do THIS?  Witnesses say they heard the mother screaming...

Everyone pray, everyone pray. Oh, my God, my baby, someone threw him over the edge

All transits into and out of the Mall of America were canceled while the crime scene was being investigated but have since been reopened.
