First Thursday is happening this Thursday.  If you're not familiar, First Thursday encourages residents from the Treasure Valley to experience downtown Boise.  You can check out everything from food to art and more.  Typically the First Thursday event runs from 5-9 p.m.

One of the fun features this year is the opening of a 5 story spiral slide at Jack's Urban Meeting Place or JUMP.  We've all driven past that building, now you have a new reason to stop by.  The 5 story slide will be open to the public during First Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. The slide then opens to the public on Saturday's from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting June 1st, 2019. Rides are FREE!

From the KTVB story, Community Engagement Director, Kathy O'Neill commented, This is an opportunity to take a risk, to try something new and explore your potential,”.

You must be at least 44 inches tall and weigh less than 330 pounds, to participate.

There are other activities open to the public as well. So check out First Thursday and all the activities from a night out for two to something for the whole family. JUMP recommends not bringing personal items, such as purses or backpacks etc...

If you're afraid of heights, this might not be for you, or maybe this can help you concur it, i'm guessing if you have kids, they won't be afraid at all!
