What’s Your Sure Fire Hang Over Cure?

A St Patty's Day survey by Alka Seltzer reveals that it only takes an average of 3.2 drinks to induce a hangover.  Here are some of the other findings from the survey;

- 28% of wine drinkers receive a headache from just one glass of red wine.  That's me.  If I have more than one glass of red wine I get a really bad headache that resonates down the back of my head to my neck

- 92% of drinkers will go to work even if they have a hangover.  Well duh, why waste a day off to recuperate, when you can do it at work.

- 7% of drinkers have called in sick due to a hangover.

- 10% of people are more likely to end up with a hangover during the week than on the weekend.  Once again DUH!  Why waste a perfectly good fun weekend with a hangover, when you can get drunk on a school night and recuperate by taking a nap at work.

My dad used to say the only cure for a hangover was to get up early and do some really hard work.  I don't know how he knew that, because whenever he had a hangover he slept in and had my brothers and I go out and do the chores.
