The sunset has been a strange color the past few nights as the smoke from the wildfires has blanketed the Treasure Valley, but what does that mean for our air quality?

The National Weather Service has issued an air quality warning for the Treasure Valley and there has been an advisory encouraging people to refrain from high exertion outdoor activities and even limiting time outdoors altogether. In addition to the poor air quality, it's also going to be pretty hot all weekend, in the 90's.

The good thing is, without a pandemic I don't think I would have ever had a mask to wear during this poor air quality situation so there is that. I was going to float the river this weekend but I feel like the vibe is weird with the tint of smoke in the sky, ya know?

Anyway, be safe, breathe good air and enjoy the weekend!
