Smoke and air quality aren't the only issues happening in the Treasure Valley right now.

Boise Parks and Rec have closed down the smaller of two ponds at Esther Simplot park after a toxic algae was found, according to KBOI. It could be deadly if ingested and a chemical treatment is being used to clear it.

Dogs are still not allowed at Quinn’s or Simplot ponds after E.Coli bacteria was found earlier this summer from dog feces.
