"I don't want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents."

Those were Joan Rivers' wishes for when she died. She didn’t quite get that, but it came pretty close with big names and a large contingent of celebrities in attendance.  Many of which were in tears

But the high point was probably the eulogy delivered by her daughter, Melissa. A transcript of the Eulogy was released to the public. You can read the Eulogy in it's entirety by clicking on the link below.

In it, Melissa read from her upcoming book “A Letter to My Mom” The book that will be published Sometime in the spring of 2015

By the way in case you didn’t know, over the past few years, Joan had been staying in a room at Melissa's L.A. residence whenever she had to be in L.A for appearances, business or to tape E!'s Fashion Police.

Apparently, before Joan died  Joan had some issues with the living space that her daughter was letting her use.

Here is Joan talking with Melissa about death and her life, right before she goes in for Surgery in 2011.  Very fitting and prophetic, wouldn't you agree?
