Middleton police have an interesting job this morning. They have been trying to round up sheep roaming the streets.

According to KTVB, the sheep were first spotted near HWY 44 and they've also been spotted in the Park Place subdivision.

Police are equipped with a trailer that they are trying to round the sheep into.

So far no one has reported their sheep missing, so we have no idea who they belong to or how they got out.

This is definitely something you only see in small-town U.S.A. I grew up in a farming town and I clearly remember waking up one morning to a bunch of cows in our front yard eating our grass! My Mom was so mad!

If you have any information on who the sheep belong to, please call the Middleton Police Department at 208-585-0008.
