No wonder I is so S-M-R-T, smart...the two schools I attended while growing up both made the top 15 list and three Treasure Valley School districts made the list too....

I attended elementary school in Genesee and Junior/Senior high school in Nezperce. Both are small north Idaho towns with small schools, but both showed up in the top 15 at thirteenth and fifth respectively, so it's easy to see why I'm such a brainiac, right?

Treasure Valley School districts did well too, with the two largest, making the list too.

My mom was a teacher for much of her life, even winning a Teacher of the Year award once, so I know first hand that a lot of Idaho school teachers and administrators go the extra mile for their students.

To come up with the rankings, niche.com factored in SAT/ACT scores, overall culture, diversity, heath, safety, parent and student surveys, teacher quality, resources, facilities, clubs, activities, and sports.

Congratulations to the number one school district in Idaho, located right here in the Treasure Valley….(drum roll please) It’s the Boise Independent School District.  The other two Treasure Valley School districts that made the top 15 are West Ada School district and New Plymouth.
