You might want to check your pantry because you could have a popular junk food just lurking there ready to possibly make you or your family sick.

Hostess has voluntarily recalled some Twinkies due to a chance of Salmonella contamination.

As bad as it sounds it’s not as bad as it could be. Hostess hasn’t recalled all Twinkies, luckily it’s only the Holiday White Peppermint Hostess Twinkies.

The voluntary recall is because there is a chance of Salmonella contamination. There are no reports of anyone becoming sick because of contaminated Twinkies and the recall is more cautionary than anything, but it’s better safe than sorry, so if you see any of these in your pantry get rid of them…and getting rid of them means NOT eating them.
