I was asked to be a guest speaker at the Women Ignite Idaho Conference and it took me less than 2 seconds to respond with an eager yes. I would be honored to speak at such a cool event!

One of my favorite parts of my job is public speaking. I am very passionate about encouraging others to live their life to the fullest because the life I am living is beyond my wildest dreams. I have no doubt in my mind that anything in life is possible. I am walking proof of that! Any chance I can get to share my story and encourage others to reach for the stars, I take it! So when I was asked to be a speaker at the Women Ignite Idaho conference and trade show, it was no brainer for me. This year's theme is "I am Enough." That statement may be a reminder to something you already know or this could be the beginning of a life changing amazing journey that lies ahead for you.

The two day conference is all about inspiring you, motivating you, and igniting that fire within you to make all your dreams come true! I will be speaking on Saturday April 12th about perception vs. reality and how to make it work for you. As a woman in the workforce we have to “play a certain part.” We have to “play the game” even as we strive to change the rules of the game. Instead of fighting the current game, there is a way to play it and win all while being true to your reality. Perception and reality will always be a part of the world we live in. With social media’s power growing by the minute, we are exposing ourselves to strangers on a daily basis and we have no control over their formed opinions of us based solely on a photo and newsfeed. There is a beneficial way to create a perception of yourself that will help your “public life” while at the same time keeping you honest to the reality of it all.

The Women Ignite Idaho conference is two full days of speakers, vendors and sponsors who will benefit both men and women and even teens. It's never too early to instill in a teenager that they are enough just they way they are.I hope you will make plans to attend and bring your friends! it's going to be a great weekend!
