Happy Lefty Day?

In case you haven't heard (I hadn't), today is Left Hander's Day.  Hmm.  I am grateful that we can have yet another day to honor a specific category of us (although thankfully at this point in time it doesn't seem that Hallmark has figured out how to capitalize on this one).

I remember growing up, my lefty family and friends always said "this is a right-handed world" and "nothing is made for us."  I'm curious if that's still the case?  If you're a lefty, do you feel like the world just wasn't built with you in mind?
