Grocery Store Basket Thief Hits One Nampa Store

This might sound like a strange story but Nampa has a serious grocery store basket thief on the loose. Over the past few weeks while stopping into the Nampa Winco grocery store I have noticed that there are always plenty of carts but no baskets.

After a few times in a row of not being able to find one I asked one of the employees if they had been moved to a different area. It was then that I was informed that they had all been stolen. I thought it was a joke but no, there are less than 5 left in the store. The employee also told me management has been debating whether to buy more or just use carts.

First off, as goofy as this still sounds a crime is still being committed. Also, what in the world is someone going to do with plastic grocery baskets? If you know the criminal behind this horrible crime please ask them to return the baskets.
