Getting Out With My Oldest

I'm really trying to spend as much time with my oldest son Jaden as I possibly can. Sometime's having two can be a bit time consuming. Especially when one is a 10 month old baby-Cooper-. My wife and I have a pretty good system to split the time evenly, but there are those days that I wished I could get out and do more with him. Just Daddy and Son time ya know.

Idaho has so many great outdoor activities for families, from camping just outside the city to Hiking around Camel's Back Park to floating the Boise River in the summer time. So it got me thinking, I need to find that thing for JUST Jaden and Me. There is this really sweet deal from Dead On Archery that I think would just be the coolest thing EVER! Saying that though I'm a tad cautious. I have never used a bow and arrow. When I think about the kind of bow and arrow that we could use too in my head I'm thinking like the old school toy bow sets..but how cool would it be to use a big daddy pro hunting type real deal bow and arrow! I could pull off the best Robin Hood and Lil John, I guarantee the inevitable though, a trip to St. Luke's or St. Al's because we are both too excited about what we are doing that an arrow in the leg would not be out of the question. And that is something that Mommy would not be the happiest about lol.

So what are the best Daddy Son activities that you can think of that I should research and get out and do with just the boy and myself?
