It's already time for Idaho's largest fitness event, we have the Healthy Living Expo and the event which takes over downtown Boise. Most importantly it's all for a great cause, to help children and families live their healthiest life.

First up is the Healthy Living Expo in a new location this year taking place at Jack's Urban Meeting Place (JUMP) at 1000 W. Myrtle Street in Boise. The expo will be open on Thursday, September 26th from noon to 8:00 p.m. Then again Friday, September 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

If you've never been to the expo it is where you will get your race number and t-shirt after signing up. And even better than that, there are tons and tons of booths and vendors who want to help you live a healthier lifestyle.

Then it's time for the big day. The St. Luke's FitOne 5K, 10K and Half Marathon from 7:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, September 28th. The streets will be blocked off from Capitol and Bannock Streets to Ann Morrison Park. Click here for more details on the road closures beginning at 5:00 a.m. on race day.

If you're nervous about signing up, don't be, you can make it happen just click here. This event is for people of all ages and activity levels. If you've never done any race before, this is a perfect race to get started. You will have thousands of people cheering you on as you get through the course.
