Boise City Fire Dept. Station 8, Albertsons and Energizer Host Community Event to Change Behaviors and Save Lives

Boise City Fire Department Station 3, Albertsons and Energizer are teaming up to host an event to promote fire safety awareness and encourage Boise-area residents to change the batteries in their smoke detectors when they change their clocks on daylight saving time. The partnership is part of Energizer’s annual Change Your Clock Change Your Battery® program.

The fire safety awareness event on October 11 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Albertsons located at 909 E Parkcenter Boulevard will include appearances from the Energizer Bunny, local firefighters, a fire truck, fire safety demonstrations, Energizer giveaways, high-value Energizer battery coupons , family-friendly activities and more. The event will provide a fun environment for families and individuals to learn how they can take simple, preventative steps to protect their loved ones and home.
