If you love your furry friends like I do, you're going to love that the famous Farmstead is welcoming all well behaved dogs to visit. The 'Dog Day at The Farmstead' is set for this Friday (September 28th) from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Farmstead which is located at 1020 South Rackham Way in Meridian.

The Farmstead will be open from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. this Friday but the dogs are only allowed between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. What a cool idea to open up the Farmstead to the whole family, I can promise if you bring your dog there you will be creating some new fun family memories.

All furry friends from lap dogs to hunting dogs are welcome to join in on the fun. There will also be special fun contests like the costume contest, so if your dog has a costume you can show it off early. All dogs must be leashed, be current on their vaccinations, and be social with others.

Also this event takes place prior to Friday Night Fireworks at The Farmstead. Fireworks begin around 8:30 p.m. so if your dogs are sensitive to fireworks like mine, please keep that in mind.
