On The Salmon with Kate details

On The Salmon with Kate is for beginners or experienced rafters and you get to raft a river that is world renowned. Yes, people come from all over the world to raft the Salmon River in Riggins, Idaho and it's in your own backyard! Even if you are not as into the outdoors as I am, this is a trip you don't want to miss. Along with Wild River Adventures, we have taken care of everything so you just have to sit back and relax!

Right in the heat of the summer we will head up to Riggins for a hot weekend. We leave Boise on a Friday afternoon and get into camp around 3 hours later. After we set up our tents, we sit back on the white sandy beach with a cold beverage in our hand and watch the sun set.

The next morning you will wake up to breathtaking scenery as you enjoy your coffee. Then we hit the water for a full day of whitewater rafting! Wild River Adventures and their professional guides will take us down the Salmon River for a day of Class II, III, IV rapids, swimming in the flat water and soaking up the sun!

Saturday night we will enjoy a tri-tip steak dinner with all the fixins from Smoky Davis Meats. All the meals will be catered by Smoky Davis and Pepsi so that in itself is a reason to join me! We'll then hang out by the campfire, roast marshmellows, play games and more!

Sunday morning we have a big breakfast and then load up and head home.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Tent, sleeping bag, lawn chair plus personal items
WHAT WILL BE IN CAMP: Water, Shade tents, all meals and coffee.

Sincerely,
Your Tour Guide Kate
