A Non-Profit Helps Veterans and Their Families Play and Heal

The Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) is a non-profit that has been around for about three years and this is the first year for the Idaho chapter. It helps get vets and their families get out to enjoy some fresh air and sunlight, socialize, stay active and heal, while enjoying a little fun competition.

This is such an amazing way for veterans to have an outlet and be involved in something together in the community. A program with people who have been in the same shoes and understand what you may have gone through or what you are feeling.

Active duty military, those with veteran status, and their families can join VGA. Membership is only $40 a year and $10 per event, which goes to putting on regional and national championships.
