60th Anniversary Celebration for Boise’s Westside Drive-In
The iconic Westside Drive-In celebrates its 60th anniversary! It started out as a grocery store nearly a century ago, but has become a big staple in our community.
It’s been around for so long that people have a lot of great memories that they carry with them even today. From a first date, being in high school in the 60’s and stopping for a drink, and I even heard of a marriage proposal!
There will be a car show today to celebrate the big anniversary week. The parking lot will be packed with classic cars from 3 - 8 p.m. and there will be live music and an ice cream potato-eating contest.
