This Store is Closing for Good After 58 years

I have fond memories of this store and it makes me sad to see it go after nearly six decades in business.

Pier One Imports has announced they are closing all of their remaining 540 locations after filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and not being able to find a buyer to continue the brand according to an article on yahoo.com.

This means both Pier One locations in the Treasure Valley. The location off of Eagle Road in Meridian and the location by the Boise Towne Square Mall will close, but not before liquidation sales.

This means you can find some killer home decor deals until they close forever. There Memorial Day sale says you can enjoy up to 40% off storewide.

I suppose Pier One has a dear spot in my heart because I remember shopping there with my Grandma and saving up to by little bits of house decor there when I first entered adulthood.

We'll be sad to see you go Pier One. Official closing dates of the stores have not yet been released.
