Turns out the lake is just as popular in the winter as it is in the summer…and not just for snowmobilers!

With 19 ski areas, more than 29,000 vertical feet of terrain spread over 22,000 acres, our home state does have the reputation of being a playground for winter sports enthusiasts.

Did you know that Bogus Basin is the second largest mountain recreation area in Idaho with 2,600 acres? It is also the largest non-profit mountain recreation area in the nation and has been a part of the Treasure Valley for nearly 80 years.
