Their cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” as the sun went down over Expo Idaho is still one of the most talked about Boise Music Festival moments of all time.

I was really trying to see the appeal of train tracks as a photo site so I drove around town near the Depot Grill and further down the tracks by Thursdays. I get it now.

Idaho Governor Brad Little has given his support, and most of the Boise City Council has also. There is still a lot to work out before the fast passenger train rides become a reality but at this point it does look like it will happen.

For 33 years the Albertsons Boise Open has attracted some pretty incredible golfers to the Treasure Valley. In addition to four days of golf action, it also brings some incredible live music to town!

According to their website, the Old Boise Model Railroad Club has been assembling its railroad model since 2001 and consists of "more than 1,800 square feet, 50 scale miles of track and 210 switches."

Thankfully no one was hurt but imagine the fear and adrenaline rushing through your body as you escape from a car stuck on the tracks with a train hurling towards you.

My son, Cooper, is into all things truck and train related right now, so this is perfect!
