Over the past few months, you've probably heard conversations about parking in Downtown Boise changing, but there is still a chance Saturdays will remain free.

As if it wasn't hard enough to find street parking in Downtown Boise, now the City of Boise is considering getting rid of one of its free parking options.

If you park in downtown Boise, odds are good you have parked in Capitol City Development Corporation garage. Now, they say they are likely going to be raising prices.

Most of us deal with this conundrum every day; Should we park in the shade to keep the car cool or avoid the sap and downside of parking under the shaded spots.

If you've been Downtown recently,you've probably noticed it's getting harder (and more expensive) to park.  This is especially true if you work Downtown.  Now, a new solution has been launched.

The City of Boise says they have close to $1 million in unpaid parking tickets. After several years, the city has to write off all the outstanding fines. There is only so much the city says they can do since they can't track everyone down and don't have leverage, they can’t revoke someone's driving privileges or anything like that...

Boise State's first home game is THIS weekend and I can't wait! How about getting a great deal on parking that also goes towards a great cause?! The Ada County Operations Department is offering $5 parking at the Civic Plaza complex, just east of the Ada County Courthouse for all BSU football games starting this Saturday...

The cost of parking on the street in downtown Boise is $1 per hour at every metered spot. This is less than parking in the Downtown garages, which charge $2.50 per hour, after a free first hour, with a maximum weekday charge of $12. The parking fee structure should be the other way around.

Right now there are four or five thousand people who live in Downtown Boise, and 33-thousand or so are there on a daily basis for work.  Have you heard how that's going to increase in the next few years?  Holy cow!  And here's how the city plans to handle it.
