Mike has been keeping us updated on his recovery and is sounding better and better everyday. He sees his doctor again tomorrow and will get his catheter out. He’s getting tired very easily which is to be expected. He got up to make himself a tuna salad for lunch, didn’t have any pain or anything, but it wore him out ...

Mike had surgery for prostate cancer on Tuesday and his wife Tracy has been keeping us all updated on his progress.

I love birthdays. I love other peoples birthdays the most because nothing makes me happier than surprising friends and family and making their day special. Mike hates birthdays. Well, I don't know if he necessarily hates them, but he definitely was hard to plan a fun surprise for because he doesn't think anyone over the age of 12 should celebrate big, unless its their 16th, 18th, or 21st birthday.

Today MIX106 attended the Idaho Rec Festival. It was held at Eagle Island. Mike gave away CD's and candy to some lucky winners! There was great food, music, swimming, and perfect weather.

Mike and Kate made a visit to Fast Eddy's today to celebrate the construction of a new Connections Credit Union building located at Ten Mile and Pine. Boise Music Festival tickets were given out to locals who stopped by to check out the new CCU building...
