Kids really do say the darndest things. We took a chance and ask Cooper, Nicole and JD's son some pretty serious questions. His answers..hmm..say alot.
Could we get to see a float season on the Boise River? We've taken a big step to possibly seeing one this year. We told you yesterday that the Boise River flow was dropping to it's lowest level since March...more good news today as flows will continue to drop by another 2000cfs not only putting an official end to the flooding but bringing levels to the lowest they've been since February.
Could we get to see a float season on the Boise River? We've taken a big step to possibly seeing one this year. We told you yesterday that the Boise River flow was dropping to it's lowest level since March...more good news today as flows drop another 500cfs today to bring the flows below 7000cfs for the first time since the first of March and put an official end to the flooding.
Finally, we get the first good news about the Boise River in over 4 months. The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are decreasing flows from Lucky Peak Dam by 1,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) today (6/14/17). That will bring the river very close to below flood stage for the first time since the first part of March.
