Open Beer Bottle With Just a Piece of Paper

With St Patrick's Day approaching, this may happen to you, but now you won't be caught unprepared and can even impress your friends while having a cold one on St. Patrick's Day? I taught you how to open a bottle of wine with a shoe, now here's how to open a bottle of beer with a piece of paper. Taa-Daa, you are the MacGyver of beer opening without an opener?

You are dying for an ice cold beer but, alas you have cold beer, yet no opener.  And the beer bottle is not a screw top, what do you do?  What can you do?  Well you can look totally cool and awesome by opening a beer with a single plane piece of paper.  Yes just everyday ordinary printing paper.

This video shows you step by step how to get the cap off a beer bottle using nothing but a sheet of paper.

1.  Fold the paper in half from top to bottom.  Then fold it in half long-wise three times, until it's long and thick.

2.  Now fold THAT in the middle, to turn it into a "V" shape.

3.  Hold the bottle steady, put the "V" part under the cap, and pop it off, easy peasy.

You might want to practice once before you try to impress the ladies because you'll look like a dork if you can't pull it off on the first try.
