This past weekend I was reminded of just how nice it is to spend time with family while enjoying the beautiful Treasure Valley summertime. On Friday evening my brother John, his wife Katie, and their son Colby came in to town from Seattle and we had a blast all weekend.

We started with a fun and delicious dinner at Brixx Craft House on State Street in Boise. Then went home and played a few games of the card game cribbage out on our backyard patio set before going to bed.

Saturday we got up and had a fantastic breakfast at Moe Joe's in Meridian before playing Putt Putt golf at Wahooz. While it's still hard to admit my brother dominated everyone winning by more than 10 strokes. UGH!

After that we spent more time at home playing more games outside while eating too much and having great conversation. Oh, we also ordered cookies from the new Crumbl Cookies in Nampa and they were huge.

It was just a great reminder of the important things in life, spending time with loved ones just enjoying life. And to make it even better Colby is here spending the week with us. That means you can catch us at Roaring Springs, the arcade, and everywhere else possible we can have fun.
