This year marked the 20th Anniversary of one of the most beloved book series of all times - J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. According to Scholastic, more than 400 million copies of Harry Potter titles have been sold since The Sorcerer's Stone hit shelves in 1997 and the accompanying films make up the second highest grossing film series of all time. If you're a Treasure Valley resident and among the millions of people who have helped the franchise reach its whopping success over the years, you'll be pleased to know that a taste of the wizarding world is now just a state away!

This month "Christmas in the Wizarding World" - an exhibition inspired by Harry Potter, opened in Sandy, Utah's Shops at South Town. Located only a few miles South of Salt Lake City, this pop up installation is open during regular mall hours and admission is FREE!

A visit to the Shops at South Town truly feels like stepping into Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. The amazing sets were designed in Warner Bros. scene shops and a cast - auditioned and approved by Warner Bros. runs the shops. Plus you can browse tons of Harry Potter merchandise made exclusively for the pop-up including candy and, you guessed it - wands!

It may be a 5 hour drive, but for you die-hard fans, this is something you (and your kids) will never forget!
