I have a few rivers and are always adding more, of places I would like to hit. I recently marked one off in Northern Idaho and about to do a second and I am really looking forward to it.

This time, thanks to the wonderful guide at Northwest Outfitters in Coeur d'alene I will be heading to the St. Joe to fly fish it for the first time. It is called the Shadowy St. Joe, although I am not sure why. It is most known for cutthroat but hold other species as well.

I will be traveling up and camping for a couple days, scouting the area and trying to hook into some big fish. I will also be visiting downtown CDA, going to what I think is the Wolf Lodge as well. Plus hanging on the lake for one day!

Plenty to do in Idaho, sometimes a bit of a drive but it's worth it. Last time Ryan and I had a blast and I can't wait for this trip. The weather should be a bit better but the fish were biting good.
