How Much Do Idahoans Spend on Hair Care?
Taking care of your hair is something that can become a little pricey. Some enjoy doing it, and others hate having to do it every day. Getting ready for work, church, or special events can be a drag when it comes to getting your hair ready. It doesn't matter if it is a man or a woman; dealing with hair is tough. Women will spend hundreds of dollars on products, hours getting them ready, and shed pounds of it in the shower. Men will spend money on gel, spend minutes looking in the mirror fixing, then throw on a hat cause they hate what they see. When it comes to taking care of your hair in Idaho, how much do Idahoans spend on hair care compared to other states?
The States That Spend the Most and Least on Hair Care
When it comes to taking care of your hair, where you live can play a big role. A place like California has beautiful weather and can keep its hair looking nice, compared to a place like Idaho, where the wind blows hard and the weather is unpredictable. WalletHub recently released a list ranking states by which spend the most to the least on hair care. They ranked them based on how much an average monthly income per state spends on hair care, and it was determined that Arkansas is the state that spends the most, with Florida being second and North Carolina rounding out the top three. The state that spends the least is New Jersey, with Virginia being the second least, and Utah rounding out the bottom three.
How Much Do Idahoans Spend on Hair Care?
According to the list, Idaho spends a little more than half of the states in the country on hair care. On average, Idahoans spend 1.29 percent of their monthly income on hair care. That may not seem like much, but if you make $40,000 a year, you are making $3,333 a month. That means Idahoans are spending around $43 a month on hair care, which adds up to $515 of hair care per year. With bills to pay, groceries to get, and clothes to buy, that is a decent amount. Many Idahoans prefer to throw on a hat of some sort, but there are still those who also like to have their hair look good.
