There are very few Monday's that are as miserable as the one that follows a Fourth of July weekend--especially when the holiday falls on a weekend. If you spent any time out and about this past week, you saw a lot of people towing boats, trailers, and American flags.

Where was everyone going? Likely 'to the mountains' -- which for many, means a journey up Highway 55.

McCall has long been one of the Treasure Valley's greatest nearby escapes, especially during the Fourth of July.  Every year you seem to hear about how busy McCall is, but this year the complaints seem to reach an all time high...

Were you going up or down Highway 55 this past weekend?

Has Idaho officially become 'full'?

It's been a joke for years, but photos of the traffic jams that turned Idaho's Highway 55 into a parking lot this weekend, especially going South on Sunday, have people rather frustrated.

Check out this post from the Valley County Sheriff's Office showing just how backed up things were!

There are two ways to get to and from McCall: Highway 55 and Highway 95. Both were busy to the max.

There were even some hectic TikTok videos going up, showing just how backed up things were:
