Boise’s Ashton Jeanty & Raiders Playoff Eliminated; What’s Next?
It's been an excellent time watching Boise State's Ashton Jeanty play his rookie season in the NFL. It almost feels like a lifetime ago we were watching him play for the Broncos and lead them for the first time in history to the College Football 12- Team Playoffs. Then next thing you know he becomes a Las Vegas Raider.
Jeanty has put up a great fight and was a huge playmaker for the Las Vegas Raiders and it was awesome watching him back out on the field again. Despite the effort of him and the rest of his team the season didn't pan out the way they had hoped.

Every week the NFL releases their power rankings where they rank the teams from best to worst. Every week the Raiders have been closer to the bottom of this ranking but as of this week the Raiders were ranked 32nd. Meaning they were ranking the worst team in the NFL.
That combined with their loss to the Chargers solidified it, the Raiders have officially been eliminated from the play offs. This is not that surprising the Raiders current record is 2-10. Since they only have 2 wins on the season many aren't surprised that they've lost their chance in the playoffs.
So what comes next for the Raiders?
Considering their record it makes sense that they will likely have an early draft pick.
Many football analysts think that their next steps would be to draft a new quarterback and a new offensive line, giving the team and Jeanty a better opportunity next year.
