Drinking Coffee In Idaho? It Might Be Contaminated With Ink
Mmmmmm. That first sip of morning coffee. There's nothing quite like it.
That is, of course, if that first sip of morning coffe isn't tainted with the flavor of ink. Yes, ink.
Why is there ink in my coffee? What is happening? I can't get through the day without it!
Oh we get it. Trust. So, here's the deal.
The FDA just recalled New Mexico Pinon Coffee Single Serve Keurig Cups after a manufacturing incident ended up with coffee being contaminated by printing ink during the production run. We don't need to explain further why drinking ink with your coffee isn't ideal for the human digestive system.
The specific product in question is listed as such:
New Mexico Pinon Coffee. Dark Pinon Single Serve 10ct. Product Number:F03308 UPC:812361033081. Single Serve (Keurig) Cups, filled with ground coffee flavored with natural flavorings.
If you need more info, you can get it directly from the FDA here.
