In the Treasure Valley, you're sure to hear about and see plenty of very different football allegiances. If you're an Idahoan, odds are you're rooting for Boise State or the University of Idaho at the college ranks (although, shoutout to Idaho State University and the College of Idaho, too). When it comes to the professionals, however--it's all over the map. Denver, Seattle, Las Vegas and San Francisco seem to be popular choices--but there is no NFL team real close to Idaho.

Do you recognize this guy?

Brock Purdy: Boise State's Biggest "What-If"

Let's take a look at this unexpected star!

He's a stud, and nobody really expected it--we're talking about Brock Purdy!

Brock was the VERY last pick in the NFL draft prior to his rookie season and never was it in the cards for him to be starting for the San Francisco 49ers.

Injuries have called for a plot twist and Purdy is starting.

We should mention, too--Purdy is winning.

Well, one of the largest names in professional football this season--the unexpected star--once nearly played on The Blue!

No, he wouldn't have been a competitor but he would have been an ACTUAL Boise State football player. Highly recruited by Boise State, "old" tweets go back to what almost, could have been.

Purdy even had a FULL RIDE!

It didn't take long for Alabama to see the hype!

Kellen Moore: Dominance Over The Years

Kellen Moore's 50 career victories as the starting quarterback at Boise State University remain the most by any QB in NCAA football history. Moore, who was touted as one of the most brilliant minds in college football has now taken those brains to the NFL where Dallas fans can't get enough of him.

This NFL Superstar With Idaho Ties May Be Jealous of Kellen Moore

Kellen Moore has a lot of hype around him-- but what's going on with his coaching future? It seems that his name pops up in every head coaching vacancy but he has yet to be hired away from Dallas-- where that fan base can't seem to decide if they want to love him or hate him.
While Kellen gets all of the love--what about this multi-time Pro Bowler with Idaho ties-- just like Moore?
