Two males have been arrested after discharging a firearm near the College of Idaho.

Over the weekend, the Caldwell Police Department responded to multiple shots fired near the College of Idaho campus on East Oak Street. The Caldwell Police Department reacted swiftly and discovered students running from a home close to the college early Sunday morning.

After conducting a protective sweep of the home for victims, officers discovered that no one was shot or injured. Their preliminary evidence suggested that there may have been a verbal altercation between 2-3 males after being denied entry into a party.

The two males who parked nearby fired several shots toward the home, luckily not hitting anyone, but they hit several parked cars. Over the past three days, Detectives from the Caldwell Police Department committed their efforts to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the senseless shooting near the College of Idaho campus.
