Look, we get it - times are tough, the world is changing right before our eyes, and things are getting more expensive. Still, that doesn't mean any of us should go to the extreme that one suspect is going right here in Ada County.

Credit card theft

Some people get so desperate with nowhere to turn but crime. We're not saying it's okay by any means, heck, some of us have endured difficult times and had to make extreme sacrifices to get by.

It's life.

Unfortunately, a suspect wanted for questioning appears to have cut corners in one of the worst ways: using stolen credit cards.

"Detectives are investigating several Home Depot purchases made with a stolen credit card," Ada County Sheriff's Office shared to social media.

"These purchases occurred at Home Depot locations around Ada County."

According to their post, the suspect could be driving a "2006-2014 Nissan Versa hatchback with a missing rear passenger hubcap."

In the photo they shared, we see the suspect pushing a Home Depot basket filled with various items including toilet paper, which is sad, at least to us.

Using a stolen credit card to purchase basic necessities like toilet paper isn't okay. It's a bit infuriating because she is taking the lazy approach and using other people's hard-earned money.

But, seriously - how sad is it that people resort to credit card theft to get toilet paper? Hopefully, the Ada County Sheriff's Office will catch this woman and bring her to justice. Pay attention to your credit cards and info! If you have any info on the suspect, we're asked to contact Detective Buie at acsofeedback@adacounty.id.gov.
