One Of Boise’s Most Popular Artists Apprehended By Coast Guard
One of Boise's most popular artists had yet another run-in with the law - only this time, it was with the United States Coast Guard.
A Boise Music Festival Alumni Gets Stopped
It's one thing to have the police pull you over, it's a whole other thing when you get pulled over by the only branch of the military that falls under the Department of Homeland Security.
The incident occurred at Bash on the Bay, an island music festival at Put-in-Bay, Ohio and involved one of Boise's favorite artists - Jelly Roll.
The Boise Music Festival alum took to his Instagram to share his account of the incident.
"So, we were leaving Bash on the Bay... and we got pulled by the Coast Guard!" Jelly shared in his Instagram story.
"Crazy! We had the sheriff of the county with us, it actually turned out to be okay, so we're back on our way. Thank you to everybody who was concerned!"
Jelly Roll never stated exactly why they were stopped but it couldn't have been that serious if they were let go that quickly.
Jelly Roll, a Boise Music Festival alumni, is set to perform at the Ford Idaho Center with Warren Zeiders as part of his tour "The Beautifully Broken" on August 28th.
Thankfully, this encounter with the Coast Guard didn't affect his scheduled Nampa performance!
