WARNING: Helping Your Idaho Neighbor Could Be Against The Law
There's already enough negativity in the world, whether it's what we deal with at work, what we see on social media, and the news we get from various outlets.
It's why we need to do what we can to continue to spread kindness through good deeds without any expectation of something in return.
But Not So Fast! Be Careful How You Help Your Idaho Neighbor!
If you're fortunate enough to have a yard, you might understand the satisfaction (and pride) that comes with mowing your lawn. Sometimes, you do such a good job you might think: "I wouldn't mind having more grass to cut!"
It's at that moment you look over and notice your neighbor's yard getting a little crazy. And here's a thought: the person in charge of that messy yard might not be as physically able to cut their grass.

So, in the spirit of doing a good deed, you cut their yard.
The next thing you know, you have police knocking at your door, taking you in, and all of a sudden your good deed landed you behind bars.
Okay, maybe we're being dramatic. Mowing the lawn won't get you that serious of a charge and someone would have to really be upset for you to cut their grass for them to call the cops.
But... are they calling the cops on you for cutting their grass or for something else?
What's The Problem? Can You Cut Your Neighbor's Grass?
Sure, you can... but if you're reported for trespassing in their yard, you could be looking at a $300 fine - no jailtime!
That being said, your neighbor should thank you for mowing and hopefully, the judge will show some compassion for the situation.
Now, if you absolutely decimate your neighbor's yard and they think you "destroyed" it, you could be looking at some jailtime.
According to Idaho legislation, you could face up to six months of jail if it's your first time catching this violation, but again - you would have to cause some serious damage.
So, remember - it's okay to spread kindness and do a good deed... just make sure it's legal.
