An Office Involved Shooting In Boise Brings I-184 To A Halt

Boise, Idaho - According to the Boise Police Department they issued a traffic alert this morning "All westbound traffic on I-184 is being diverted west to Meridian. Traffic is closed for drivers using the flyover to head east.

The Idaho State Police put out a similar tweet.

KTVB.com says "a person is now recovering in a local hospital after being injured by an officer" the officer wasn't hurt during the altercation with who was originally called because there was a report of a person who was walking in the westbound lanes on I-184.

A statement from the Boise Police Department says "the subject refused officer commands, produced a weapon, and the office was forced to discharge his service weapon."

KTVB.com also mentions that "a person is now recovering in a local hospital."
