Idaho Charter Schools Substitute Orientation and Training
Treasure Valley charter schools are seeking substitute teachers. If you know any teachers looking for work please pass this information along to them. The free orientation and training will be taking place on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Rolling Hills Public Charter School (8900 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, Idaho 83714).
The hours are flexible while you could make a positive impact on students here in the Treasure Valley.
Experienced substitutes, new substitutes, or if you're just curious to learn more are all welcome to learn more about this opportunity. It's a free professional development opportunity. You will be able to learn more about schools and how to use their online scheduling tool.

The only requirements to be a substitute in the state of Idaho are:
- A belief that all kids have promise and potential
- A desire to have a positive impact on students and to support teachers
- A belief in charter schools and support for school choice
- A flexible schedule during normal school hours
- A clear criminal background history check
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
