Boise State Offers Bike Tours Through Downtown
Not every university gives potential students the chance to explore its city like this. Boise State is giving bike tours to help students get a feel for campus and to reinforce Boise as an active city. And it's something fun to do in the mornings before the heat gets cranked up in the afternoons.
Every Wednesday and Friday this summer you've got a chance to meet on campus at Boise State and be part of a bike tour through Downtown. The tours start at 10 a.m. and they start with a presentation from the university, and then cyclists take off for a tour of the city, and come back by 12:30 p.m for the end of class.
You can bring your own bikes and helmets if you'd like, but Boise State says they'll provide both free of charge. Space is limited to ten riders each Wednesday and Friday, and you can sign up HERE. Just sign the waiver and you're all set.
It's another fun way to explore Boise, and grab some info too on becoming an official Bronco. And then Tweet it.
Summer sessions are on now at Boise State, and fall classes start August 21st. Oh, and the first Bronco football game is at home September 2 against Troy. The campus is about to get busier! Squeeze in those bike tours while we can.
