I've been on the air in the Treasure Valley since 2009, and I love hanging out with ya! We chat about fitness and exercise, relationships, and workplace experiences, pop culture news, kids, and other things that present huge challenges. Like online dating. Oh my goodness. Dating on the apps is time consuming, but if we try to meet someone in person it's stalkery and creepy, so we forge ahead. I was born and raised in the rural town of Elwood, Nebraska with one stop light, a court house, three churches, and a bar. I'm a Cornhusker, and graduated with a Broadcasting degree from the University of Nebraska, and then worked all over the country in radio. When I'm not working, I'm usually running. I try to run between 6 and 9 miles a day because I love that runners high! I try to eat clean too. I love shopping, going out for salmon and wine, seeing live music and comedy, and listening to all kinds of music. I've got three daughters, and that means I'm an Uber mom, taking them to gymnastics, karate, softball, or whatever is in season. They always crack me up and ask odd questions, and give the best hugs and make me realize what's important in life. Feel free to connect via email anytime using the form here on the website. I love hearing from you!

7 Things That Are Incredibly Comforting And We Don’t Know Why
It's really hard to focus on stress and anxiety when there's a cat purring in your ear. Cat purrs and the sound of Bob Ross's voice are two strangely comforting things that we need more of right now.
Boise Is Going To Be Cleaner Than Ever
While public places are being scrubbed and disinfected at a record pace, the extra time at home is forcing a bunch of us to get after projects we've been neglecting. I tore up the master closet this week and learned something surprising about myself in the process.

Parents, If The Kids End Up With Deformed Feet It’s Our Fault
Most kids are wearing shoes that are too small, and it's more than just uncomfortable. Tight shoes can cause serious foot deformities that they'll have for the rest of their lives. Apparently, we need to ramp up the toe test!
Post-Game Snacks Are Killing Some Benefits of Kids’ Sports
It sure doesn't take long to wipe out the benefits of exercise. If the kids spend an hour or two playing a softball game and chase that with a bag of chips and a sugary sports drink, they're probably taking in more calories than they burn.
More Hand Sanitizer Is On Its Way to the Treasure Valley
Hand sanitizer is scarce right now, but there's more on the way.

These Common Disinfectants Will Kill Coronavirus
Good news. Coronaviruses are what are called "enveloped viruses," meaning they are easy to kill if we have the right weapons. There's more than one household cleaner that can do the trick.
