This week's motivation is the exact opposite of what you might be doing at the start of the work week but it will help get you going and set the tone for the week!

Monday's are the hardest day of the week to get up in my opinion. So the last thing I want to do is get up and put extra effort into getting ready. But this is exactly what you need to do to make the beginning of the week better.

Guys probably won't get this is a much as women do because their morning routine is always the same. But as women, we cut corners when it comes to getting ready. We don't wash our hair everyday, hence the ponytail and bun. We wear less makeup on the days we're running late. We skip the pantyhose whenever possible.

My suggestion for this week's Monday motivation is to do all of that. Get up. Wash your hair and style it. Put on the makeup that makes you feel the most confident. Wear the new outfit you got over the weekend, or the one that gets your the most compliments. It sets you up for a great day. Believe me, I can't pull this off everyday. But I do know it's more important for my mental self to do this on Monday than it is to do on a Friday. Monday's need more help. Friday's already have an advantage being the start of the weekend!
