When the alarm goes off on Monday morning it's hard enough just to get your legs out of the bed and onto the floor. So when I tell you that working out on Monday is a must for a good day and a good week, you're going to laugh.

Monday is usually the day people skip the gym. Turn that around and make working out on a Monday a must! Getting your heart rate up has so many health benefits. The mental perks are what I think will really help you to have a better Monday. It instantly erases the guilt from the weekend feast you consumed. It also gets the endorphins pumping through your body, which is a mood booster. You physically can't feel as bad as you did when the alarm went off.

Even if you don't normally work out, try and get up and take a walk around the block. Get the blood pumping! And if working out in the morning is not even possible in your mind, you still get the benefits if you work out after work. It will set you up for a great week!
