The US team makes it's debut at the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil this afternoon. I'm hoping we hear GOOOAL a lot today. There is one sound though that you won't be hearing.

Don't worry, it hopefully won't be the sound of the US coach boo-ing his own team. After the infamous vuvuzela fiasco at South Africa's World Cup, a new noisemaker- the Caxirola, was created to allow soccer fans to make some noise. But just before the first kick-off those were banned too because officials were worried someone would get hurt. Really?
