You Sure Can Tell That It’s Not Hunting Season

I don't get it.  How do animals always seem to know it's not hunting season.

We are lucky to live in an area with an abundance of wildlife, right here in town.  How many other cities in our country have moose, cougars, deer, elk and foxes right in the city limits of a town our size.

Every spring here at Mix 106 we get to see deer being born and raised before momma takes them into the foothills to raise them.

But is is just strange to me, that as many hunters as we have here in the Treasure Valley, how do animals seem to know when it's hunting season.
